Day Fifteen: Soup in the Sun and Endless Chatting

Day two in Florida started out by waking up, which is how most days start. I hope. And within just half an hour after we woke up, Hilary and I went to pool to take a dip. We swam around for about an hour, and she found a guy who apparently looked like Taylor Lautner. She was quite smitten, but kept her distance. I'm pretty sure he was only 16 anyway. After we swam around a bit, we got out of the pool and ate sine breakfast, or lunch since it was around 11 by then.

We all kind of dottled around a bit, Hilary and went to the little workout center for a bit. I lifted some weights, getting my huge biceps/triceps/arm muscles/whatever they're called in shape while Hilary partied on the treadmill. A good time was had by all. Then we went to Walmart and picked up some groceries. Super exciting, I know.

When we got back, Hilary and I microwaved some soup and took it outside to eat. We found these lounging chairs just across the street that looked across the bay. We could see across to the other side and all the hotels, it was the perfect place. Those chairs soon became "our chairs". Later, we all went swimming. But we didn't know that the pool closed at 8, so we ended up being there for only 15 minutes. Seriously, who would close a swimming pool at 8? That's so early!

Not ready to get out of the water, Hilary and I decided to wade in the bay with all the little fishies while we tried to avoid the crabs that were there. We didn't really fancy getting our toes pinched.

For the next several hours, Hilary and I sort of dilly-dallied around, watching people crab on the dock while we walked up and down it. After a while, we wandered back to our chairs and talked for a long time. You know, being friends for 10 years, you'd think we would run out of stuff to talk about, but it really never ends. It mostly came from Hilary, but it was endless.

Sorry I'm slacking on the posts, but thanks for reading!
